Yes we plan to be afloat at first light tomorrow. On a water know for it's very good Pike (it's also a trout water). We fish it regularly, but so far havn't had a 20 from it, although they are regularly caught there and a 30+ is always a possibility.
It will be mostly deadbaiting in the bays, or anywhere we get good reading on the echo sounder. Whatever happens is going to be a cold day, Must get organised and lay out my layers tonight.

About two thirds of the lake was frozen over, we had the trail blaze through the ice crust to get to the clear parts. I struggle with launching my heavy boat, but it proved useful as lighter boats were unable to 'crunch' through the ice.

Glad that you like 'em :)
I seem to been taking more landscape shots that fish shots over the last few weeks, the fishing has been difficult. I havn't been out all week as I have been away since monday. My son Danny was out on his boat today and had to yet again struggle breaking the ice. I shall have a shore deabaiting session tomorrow, hopefully will get something wet, slimy and toothy to picture!
